Anthony
Brand new 967 Loom supplied by SBD. This has all the option boxes ticked, ie alternator cut out, cooling fan control, launch control. Cost c.700+VAT. I appreciate you may not need all of this, but it is brand new, has never had any current passed through it. £400 Regards
I reply to every thread
How about the 967 itself?
Ally
I presume the loom is made for a vauxhall, so could not be easily altered for a K series engine?
Anthony
Hi Aves Sorry 967 has gone - loom made in heaven does not fit Gary's specific ECU location, so he has kindly returned it. Quality of loom is first class Ally, good question. Alternator and cooling fan cables would follow N/S diag. chassis tube Injectors and air temp sensor would be in similar locations I had ECU positioned under scuttle on a vertical plate, with cables running down the tunnel and then into the engine bay. Battery cables would be fine Not sure where coil is on a K- this might be a hic-up Crank sensor is on the front of the engine Where are you ? If you are not too far, happy to pop over and see if it fits Regards Anthony
Adam
Hi Anthony Im (still) interested in the loom, particularly if I could get it to work on a K-series layout. If its still available.... Does it have one or two ignition drive connections - eg Im using a wasted spark system rathter than a single coil/dizzy. What type of relays (fuel pump etc) does it use/interface into ... most K-series use a MFU (black box with four relays in) Does it have the DB9 comms connector (would be useful), PC cable (nice to have), and mapping box (icing on the cake) Does it use the "standard" connector into the dash loom, etc tacho, ignition on etc ... I have a few more questions, so if its still available in 2 weeks (holidays) maybe I could pop over and "try it on for size"?? Cheers Adam
Anthony
Hi Adam. It is based on a wasted spark solution and has a separate coil pack. You would not need to use the K-series one. I have a spare coil if it helps It has fuel pump relay etc. It has comms lead to enable link to laptop and easi-map 5 etc. Happy to respond on questions It has tacho connection, shift light facility, all the usual good stuff. I am off too back 31/8, and if you are interested I could pop down to Bristol perhaps. Can you mail me and I will send over interface details with base loom Regards
