I have already considered going down there (a long way, about 8 hrs in a car) and buying it for small change then selling it on, but I can't be bothered. Part of the problem is that it's not a model that you can legally import to and register in France AFAIK, being a late ish XF fitted with a Lotus. No engine swaps here boys... Whip round starts here, who'll pay the TGV fare for me to go and kick the tyres? Incidentally, there are 100 of us online. 95 quid each, buy the damn thing, NtL auction, Glop can buy his Elise, job done. Usual address...
