Robster
Due to a change in plan, I have a 2002 'Focus' Zetec 2.0 litre engine for sale, these have solid lifters and larger inlet valves than the earlier Zetec. The engine is from an automatic mondeo that had done 9k miles before being written off, so it has done very little work. The engine is currently stripped for inspection, ie the head if off so that you can see the valves, bores. The engine comes with starter motor, alternator and water pump. £450, this is what it cost me in the first place. The engine is in my garage in Newbury. Skidmark
If you still have your engine, I have a couple of questions: is the oil filter on the block or the oil pump ? is the crank end any different from the manual ?
Robster
The crank is no different, the hole is there for a thrust bearing (about £4 from Burton), just there is no bearing in as not used in an automatic. The oil filter is on the block. The engine is still for sale, you can call me on 01635 36282 is you are interested. Thanks Robin
