Recommended Posts

my xflow brake lights do not work - it would appear there is not wiring to the relay - can anyone inform me as to where the wiring is likely to be routed from the relay to the loom/where it goes through bulkhead or if it come off the main wiring as it runs into the engine bay - I am at a loss ???

I now have a red 91 Supersprint

IIRC the brake light feed comes from the fuse box and the return is switched to ground by the brake switch. There are no relays involved. Check for 12V at the bulb, and if it's there the problem must be on the switch side.

SEP field working, not spotted in 102,000 miles. Some photos on webshots, updated 10 June

On may 88 DeDion, the brake brake light switch is activated by hydrauic pressure from the brake system. If you trace the brake pipe from the master cylinder you will come to a 4 way connector, on one of those connections sits the brake light switch.

Hope this helps
