I'll say Ive seen all these adverts & had agencies phoning me up. I dont particularly want to leave as I like the people & the job (most of the time), but a bit more money would be appreciated. I work in environmental consultancy & have been doing 2 engineers worth of site work for the past few months due to understaffing, so that could be an arguement in my favour. mav Posted July 28, 2004 Share Posted July 28, 2004 I told them i was going to start looking elsewhere if they did not pull their fingers out (I was in the final rounds of interview for another job anyway) - I explained a few of the things lited by Steve / Geoff etc, and 6 weeks later I had a promorion and 10%.
