simonbell Posted July 22, 2004 Author Share Posted July 22, 2004 Ahhhh the build.....I knew there was something else I was meant to be doing Well it has taken a few steps back in that the nice new duratec is now in bits in the garage. The crank and pistons which have been modified are due back soon, then they disappear again along with flywheel, clutch etc to be fully balanced. In the meantime I need to buy some bolts, a pair of cams, some verniers, and a dry sump system. Then we can build the engine The rolling chassis is scheduled for delivery in October. So things are moving albeit very slowly! simonbell Posted July 23, 2004 Author Share Posted July 23, 2004 Don`t panic Steve......if all the bits arrive in October it will be on the road early in the new year as soon as they stop salting the roads. We`re planning to SVA in England to avoid the headache of doing it in NI. If funds allow it will get a run in on the Spring tour then we`ll get some more miles on it before USA. Hopefully by that time all the teething problems will have been sorted.
