Graham Perry
Does anyone know of a company that can carry out repairs to imobilisor ECU's ? I have an early bosch model that Bosch no longer support, and they couldn't advise anyone who could fix it. I think it only has an internal relay that has stopped working. Don't want to dob out hundreds on a new one.
Jason Plato
Graham , IF (?) you are talking about the std K series imobiliser , then have have been told that a Rover main dealer has the ability to re-write the MEMS to recconise the a new relay box . Following proof of ownership etc etc . Dave
stevefoster
Not much help this but... I had the contact number of a firm that would do ECU tests and diagnose say faulty contacts which equals £20 to fix over most manufacturers wanting £400 for a new unit. I got the number from the daily telegraph (Saturday motoring). Drop a line to Honest John and he will point you right...
