I want to retorque the head to ensure all is as it should be before touring. Would be grateful for someone to define the stud tightening process and the torque value to be used. Also yonks ago someone posted the Ford part number for a cork rocker box gasket suitable for Caterham X flows. John Whyman Posted June 27, 2001 Share Posted June 27, 2001 I would make a point of talking to the people who did your engine work for your torque settings. They may suggest a gradual process or different torque values to the standard 1700 x/flow, depending on the work done. My last rocker box gasket was standard Ford 1600GT bought from Ford parts dept.
