shaunsl
THANKS FOR ALL THE ASSISTANCE, I'VE MANAGED TO GET AN AXLE FROM BARRY HUNT WHICH WILL BE GOING IN THIS WEEKEND HOPEFULLY. I've got a 1996 ex Acadamy live axle and to cut a long story short, the diff exploded at a track day last week and damaged the casing so I need a whole new axle, it is currenly with my local garage who will do the work if I supply the parts. I have 3 questions... 1> Is the axle standard Ital, or modified by Caterham? 2> If it is modified, is there a dealer wherer I can get one apart from Caterham? 3> If it is standard what I am looking for (e.g. Model, Year etc.) Thanks in advance Shaun Edited by - shaunsl on 28 Jun 2001 16:13:
Chairman Roger
Try Steve Perks at SP Components (01527 894232). Steve does a lot of work for Caterham Cars on both boxes and axles. Roger
Eugene
I had a new axle build by The 7 Workshop. You could ask Chris where he got the parts from including the modified casing. Small Boy - with Big Toy! See Eugene here

Violet Elizabeth
Can highly recommend SP Components mentioned above. Had a new diff from them, they might be "reconditioned" but they have been nicely tweaked as well.
