kevind Posted July 4, 2004 Share Posted July 4, 2004 Just failed the MoT because the o/s/f wheel was binding on my '86 Classic [:-(] Can someone tell me how to identify what type of caliper it is? Trawling the search seems to indicate it'll be a Spitfire part but how can I tell which part? The discs are std unvented/solid so I'm assuming they're "original" parts. Haven't had time yet to whip the wheel off and pads out so it might just be a bit of corrosion on the piston - not sure I'd be happy cleaning that off with some wet/dry unless it where really light, in which case it probably wouldn't be binding too much? Any advance on Rimmers for replacement calipers? BRG and 180 Zetec horses - what could be nicer? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
