Steve,I've got a proper 1700 with steel crank/cos. rods and

pistons/R King big valve head/twin 45's.Gives 175/180 bhp

(currently with A2 cam).Stripped down for full inspection

purposes at present...prev interested party decided it was

too hairy!Lots of other bits that go with it as well.

yours for £1250.

As would I, can I have third refusal ?

Have you had the important bits crack tested etc ...? and why are you getting rid of it ?

Steve,Barry,Greg

Cam is actually A8.The engine was intended to go into an existing cross-flow live axle car to make more competitive for sprints/hill climbs but

I decided to go circuit racing instead and changed car to a 1400 DeDion.

Barry and Greg,Not heard from Steve as yet, will keep you posted. You've

realised this is a bargain but its clear out the garage time!

Balls !

Well if you change your mind !

Anyone any ideas on where I can source similar bits 2nd hand (matching 45's steel crank / rods)?
