1800 X flow De Dion maintainance/servicing

I,m new to the 7, having just bought a 1800 x flow on twin 45 webbers it having covered 18,000 mls. It seems to run very well with no unusual noises save for its terrific 'bark'.

Can anyone advise me on what requires regular fettling and what can go wrong without regular maintainance.

My plan was to change the oil annually say at 2500 mls and adjust the tappets and carbs, plugs etc. at the same time.(It has Lucas Electronic Ignition)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
