K&N Filters

Legronge

Recommended Posts

Wanted:

K&N filters to fit Weber 40 DCOEs. The oval type with a chrome plate held on by a single central screw, or two nuts on the circumference. They need to be quite deep to give clearance on long trumpets (85mm+)

Thanks

What are you people on about *confused* 😬

. . .. the 40/45/48, etc. wrt K&N filters refers to the size of Weber DCOE carburettors they fit, not the thickness of anything. They do come in different sizes though - to accommodate different trumput lengths.

If I've missed something in private emails then soz...& just ignore me 😳

After a hi-vis (pocketted side) driver's door if anyone's got one? *thumbup*

Adam

It's OK, we have a secret code. *cool*

You are of course right, I should have said these are 2no, 45mm high (not thick) K&N airfilters in decent nick.

They will fit weber DCOE 40 and 45 also dellorto 40 and 45 DHLA. They won't fit weber 48 and above.

45mm is the lowest height in the K&N range for these carbs. The others they make are 54, 63, 83 and 102mm. You need to provide at least 25mm clear distance between the intake trumpets and the filter cover plate.

If anyone wants them, just make me an offer over £10 for the pair, plus postage at cost.

regards
