i've been thinking about a shedders BBQ at our house in west london late summer. Mav said he'd help....would you fly over with Jo for that Simon if i made it the same set of days as a USA 2005 gathering/meeting 🤔

Yep, just give us enough advance notice so we can book some cheap flights!

At the moment we are over in July on the way to France, and then probably sometime in October to pick up the new car.

I imagine you are thinking late August?

July is tricky.....

We fly into England on 7th July

Pick up a car on 8th July and meet the other NI crew in Ashford

Ferry to France on 9th July

In France and Alps until Sunday 18th??? (I think) July

Drop car off on Monday 19th July

Fly back to NI on Tuesday 20th July

If it was the following weekend or the one after that then should be OK, unless you want to do it Sunday 18th.....We should arrive into Dover around lunchtime so could probably be with you mid afternoon..........there was talk of a listers meet that Sunday though!

Prices are rising for dates in July....still not extortionate but in our experience once they start to rise they do so fairly quickly.

July isn't good Steve prices go through the roof----- like 200quid a seat each

August is better but you go ahead and organise and we'l see what turns up Also Liz quite often works weekends but dosn't know her duty till the week prior which is too late to book flights so we have to book on spec when they are cheap and then go or not go as the times dictate.

Late August would be better for us.....

As jj says flights out of NI in July need to be booked well in advance as half the country clear out in July in case the trouble kicks off *mad*

sounds good Steve-B... I'll help out buring things on the BBQ... crunchy on the outside, raw in the middle. Just the way God intended...

Just don't make it 4th Sept as I already have two weddings to go to that weekend (one in cumbria, one in essex... mad blat between planned...)!!

we'd just provide the BBQ to cook on, the bins, and the house.

everyone else would bring food and drink *thumbup*

now to raise the subject with Mrs. B, think i'll wait until i'm back home from Munich
