db Posted June 1, 2004 Share Posted June 1, 2004 Nice weekend:- Fri - Drove through hellish traffic in London to Folkestone, past a million cameras, tunnelled out of Stalag Britain to N France. Sat - Blatted around N France. Two friends get E90 fines (no points) for exceeding the speed limit. By a lot. Like nearly double. I escape as lost in the woods. Guided tour of Veuve Cliquot, sample the produce. Michelin Star dinner nr Reims. Sun - Drive in the rain all over N. France. Go sideways several times at roundabouts. Stay in idyllic chateau - arriving just as glorious sunshine breaks through. Mon - See dead people, cat, come home. Queue for 30 mins to get through Blackwall tunnell on a Bank Holiday. My ...
