mike-ktm
Hi, I have a nosecone believed to be caterham dimensions. It is a new item - never fitted, it was given to me with my locost chassis but is surplus to requirements (not gonna fit properly, it's quite narrow - so I've purchased other bodywork). Was told that it was made by a guy who used to make stuff for caterham ? (make any sense to anyone) I can provide photos if needed, just e-mail me on mdjoyce@blueyonder.co.uk Not quite sure what it's worth, so make me an offer (or if anyone has an idea of value, please post details) Cheers, Mike
Irrelevant
I paid £50 for an as-new one recently if that's any help. I think they can be found for £85ish new but I could be wrong on that. You should check if it's a Caterham one and if so, what vintage (they changed in the early 1990s). I doubt whether anyone will be interested in a non-Caterham one. mike-ktm
HI, thanks for the reply. How do I tell what vintage it is ? Do caterham ones have any markings or names moulded into them ? I guess £50 was aout what I expected, do you know anyone who would be interested ? It's a shame to leave it lying there. Cheers, Mike

mike-ktm
Adam, yes it is gel coated. It's red in colour - no chips or scratches etc. feel free to e-mail me if you have any further questions. Cheers Mike
Steve Robinson
Mike I'm interested in it. Can you mail me the dimensions (and pics?) so I can match it up against mine. Thanks Steve Edited by - Steve Robinson on 23 May 2004 22:43:
Steve Robinson
Apologies for the quick change of mind Mike, but have been offered a genuine Caterham nosecone now so will get out of the way of other interested parties. Cheers Steve
