KayTee
Hi, everyone ! Two quick questions: - the flush fit valves sold by Superlight Wheels. Do I need to fit them with a dab of silicone, or just as they are and straight in ? Do they seal 100% ? - Which way around do I need to fit the A032-Rs I have ? Directional arrows ? I know, I've read it a gazillion times, but forgot sad.gif Any clues, please ? Thanks ! Regards - Karsten
Graham Sewell
The A032Rs are directional because of the tread pattern, so in the direction of the arrows on all wheels. (unlike A021Rs which are non-directional treads but perform slightly better if reversed on the non-driven wheels). Cheers, Graham
Simos
Hi Karsten, I think the directionality of the 032's being radials is mainly to do with the "aqua-tusk" tread pattern which works best in one direction. In which case all the tyres should be mounted with the rotation arrow pointing forward for all tyres. This is how I have mine. The alternative for biased-plys (ACB-10's) is to have the rotation arrow reversed for non-driven wheels (the fronts) although this is nothing to do with tread pattern but the way the plies are attached to the bead and the rubber to the plies. Cheers, Simon. (snap smile.gif) Edited by - simos on 30 May 2001 15:05:
