GTD Posted May 12, 2004 Share Posted May 12, 2004 From Private Eye; Millions of TV viewers were stunned yesterday by a tv programme which depicted the unbelievable truth about Britain's Postal system. The TV show followed one postman referred to only as Pat, who was seen going about his business in Greendale, accompanied by a black and white cat. Pat was shown putting letters in his sack and then delivereing the to the correct addresses. Said one stunned viewer, "I couldn't believe my eyes! At no time did he open the letters or dump undelivered mail in a skip." The Royal Mail was quick to defend itself. "Pat is just one isolated case.
