Me? ME?

Innocent innocent. Don't take me away, officer. No, no, not the elbow!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaargh.

Sorry. Over-active imagination this morning.

I must go and write the Minister's briefing documents now.

Not sure Lunneners are fair game either...

[dreamy stare] moving targets...mmm...[/dreamy stare]

Had a go with waht's called an F class rifle on Saturday - what fun! It's got a tripod at the front and telescopic sights. 3 shots - 3 bulls 😬

F stands for Farquahson - the bloke who invented it. The size of the bull depends on the distance you shoot over. A 300 yd target is smaller than a 1000 yd target, but pro rata they are the same.

Bl**dy hell! I really AM an anorak! *eek*

one of the reasons I so enjoyed rifle shooting was that it was sport where you got to lie down not been to a range in years though

Why do you think I took it up? sadly you've just missed an open day at Bisley, but if I hear of another I'll post something, so anyone who fancies coming along and having a go can.

Psst...it won't be a L7C event - am I advertising?

Other regulations:-

the rifle may, however, incorporate an integral mechanism for raising and lowering its butt...

It doesn't mention whether the trigger-jockey - whether Roseanne or Calista - is allowed the same assistance.

used to be a reasonable small bore shot when at uni, and could normally hit what I aimed at with full bore and pistols. But that was like, um years ago *tongue*

most fun was a belt fed GPMG off a bipod 😬

although playing with plastic explosive was an educational experience as well *confused*

Caterham 21 VHPD *cool* - one of the few *thumbup*
