Fast Westie
7EVEN I don't know what pad fixing kit you need, except the standard one? Do you really need vented disks? I race my Westf1d with standard solid disks.
Chelspeed
I don't believe Princess calipers fit the Caterham upright do they? They are a direct swop for the M16 calipers used on a Westie but not for the calipers on a Caterham. If you have managed to fit Princess calipers then to fit vented discs you'll need a spacer kit, the spacer kit will include the longer disc pins that you need. You can get spacer kits from Rally Design or TAS. The disc pins fitted to the vented disc spacered M16 calipers on a mkII escort or fitted as standard to a 2.8i Capri will also fit and these should be much more common. Big Brother
Out of interest, does anybody know to what the calipers fitted to a 79 Caterham were originally fitted to? Several people say the Sierra - but I cant remember too many around in 79!

Chelspeed
Front calipers are herald based and have been for many years. Rear brakes depend on model, latest de dion cars use Sierra rear calipers, since 1990 or so. Prior to 1990 the Caterham used either a Ford or Leyland axle together with the corresponding drum brakes.
