Double Posts

There seems to have been an increase in the number of double posts recently. Often, when this happens, the poster will have been presented with a message something like this:

Response object error 'ASP 0158 : 80004005'

Missing URL

/post_infoSQL.asp, line 473

A URL is required.

This is happening because the http-referer information is missing, sometimes it is stripped out by firewalls and some browsers. I have now inserted some code to capture this error and go to a page where I have explained the possible causes. If you have had double posts and the solutions that I have given do not fit your circumstances, please let me know.
