Ok Steve R.

Don't see why not Steve N... It's fun and for NTL.

Needs to be a dry day as we have to push my 7 out of the garage *wink*

For another £5, I can do toe setting and camber check...

Not meaning to take anything away from Steve Foster but for your information Marc Hicks of Anglia Sevens spent 10 years setting up F1 cars including Damon Hill and Jacques Villeneuve's Championship winning cars.

If you wish give him a ring on 07814 477964.

He has transformed a number of Carrotlanders cars, including my own, simply by tweeks here and there.

Keep off the straight and narrow *tongue* 😬

  • 1 month later...

I did the Peter C method today. Result was seemingly good, but I want to make sure I got everything right -

When doing the front heights, will half a driver be equally good as a driver + half a passenger because they are symmetrically around the roll axis?

Also, when trying to achieve balance on the two "knife edges", does it matter where the ballast is located as long as it's around the boot area?

I did the rears after the front (not sure if this is correct). The front heights will probably differ by a bit. With still the driver + half a passenger in the car, should the rear heights be set the same or +15mm from the respective front corners? If the same, should an average of the fronts be used..?
