Ferrino
Think it'd be worth more than 10 grand. Sounds like a quick car with some nice bits. Does it have a Ford or Ital rear axle?
simon redshaw
David, I have a live axel car, and to change to zetec or other, you need to spend allot of money. the live axel needs to be english to take the power(£1000.00+ conversion with lsd), the rear prop shaft tunnel needs to be modified (free with DIY, but approx. £300 if yo have experts complete the task), the brakes need upgrading (upto 1k front and back!)and the engine! Engine parts to allow fitment of a zetec into a Caterham can cost upto 1500 quid+ for the rolls royce parts (Raceline). The gear box could be worth £800+ second hand! So, on a live axel 91 car worth approx £8-9k in average nick, you can add possibly 6k to alter the car to meet the std you have seen! So approx. 12-13k max if in very good condition???????
