Mark Piper
...and where do I advertise it? From an automatic 1987 SD1. Was my spare engine for my V8 Lightweight, but never used. Dry stored since being removed from the SD1 about 6 years ago.

Beelzebub
I would'nt imagine more than 250 nicker. Most trying to source A V8 to install will almost certainly want at the very least a 3.9, preferably the later one with the cross bolted mains . Try advertising in one of the kit car publications or LRO.
Prisoner66
Try here Mark........ http://www.rodandclassicmart.co.uk/ A lot of V8 users and seekers here, going rate for a standard Rover is £150 to £300. More if tuned of course. I feel really constructive now.... (joking) 😬

aclucas
Could you send me details and location offline/in a PM - I have a fairly knackered Stage 1 (original V8 landy) and could be interested if it is worthy of transplanting - I don't need massive power. Where are you? N7CTR 1.8VVC
