Myles Posted April 24, 2004 Share Posted April 24, 2004 Yes - my next door neighbour was supposed to lend me a set of those extraction tools - but forgot - so I drilled the old one to within a fistful of thou' of its life and then used my (previously) trusty Swiss Army knife to extract the whisps of brass... Knacked my knife in the process, but I got the rubbish out. I'm just off outside to refit the thermostat (with the freshly purchased ringy thing) and then start chasing airlocks...
