Posted April 25, 2004 Share Posted April 25, 2004 My company has the nastiest, tatiest offices, and doesn't believe that a staff restaurant is something that good employer needs to consider even iat the HQ in in Brum where there are over a 1000 people (the biz turns over £1bn in the UK, with the owner being No 63 in the Times Rich list) At HP on Thursday I was faced with a beweildering array of food choices for about tuppence ha'penny (I don't often write that nice phrase !), the dinning area extends outside in the nice weather, wonderful cheap food in the sunshine As Samsung on Friday the food was even better although on a smaller scale, usual canteen fair but with the additional of a range of Korean food, hhhhmmm (no jokes about tiddles and fido) and what do I get at my place, a trip to Tesco in Slough and then either eat in my car in Tesco carpark or eat in the office ☹️ Corporate life in the Thames Valley is not meant to be like this It's no wonder many new staff only last a few weeks and I've got a new starter tomorrow Supercheese R250 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
