KenEvans
I thought I'd fixed my starter motor problems but had the machine gun effect at 7.00 this evening. 12.6 volts but tried a jump start - nothing. +ve from the battery to the solenoid - same effect. I think the starter's in need of some further attention. Call me weak willed but I'm afraid I don't fancy push starting it all weekend. I'll have another go at it in the morning and perhaps turn up late afternoon or for the sprint. I'm a little pi55ed off at the moment having put quite a few hours into it in the week, otherwise I'd make more of an effort....... Having said that, is there much tarmac there where I could park the car up the trailer ramps? Off for a pint or four now, things may look rosier later Ken Edited by - kenevans on 23 Apr 2004 20:20:
Mark Durrant
Ken Come along. A fellow sprinter has a spare starter we can fit, alternatively just reverse on to the ramps of your trailer after your run and one or two of us will help you with a bump start. This worked at Aintree last year Mark D Su77on Se7ens
Mark Durrant
Ken The starter will be in the boot of my car. It comes from a SLR so should fit yours. See you tomorrow. Mark D Su77on Se7ens
