new shedder pictures from secret shedder

Recommended Posts

I have new pictures from secret shedder *thumbup*

Drawn in "Freehand 9'' on a Mac.

Also saved in 'Illustrator 7' format.

v1

- this is in black and a spot colour (I've used Pantone 329 as an

approximation of the turquoisey colour - but either could be any colour you

choose). The 'shadow' across the face I've rendered as a cross-hatching of

black lines, so the whole thing could be printed in two solid colours - but

may not be 'ultimately scaleable' as the lines might close up too much at

small sizes. (The lines could be reduced in number and respaced though.)

Ok, but a but of a fudge.

v2

- this process colours and the shadow is a transparent element in 'Freehand'

which will render as process colours when output - not sure how reliably

this translates into the Illustrator format - but the printer would probably

know how to handle it.

This version could still be printed in two colours if the 'shadow' part was

to be made a black screen overprinting the second colour.

Again, the 'turquoisey' colour could be anything you like.

(Advice from the printer when he's seen this might be worthwhile - always to

good to get their views anyway before going too far).

- - - - - - - -

v2 is much the better, if it can be dealt with

- - - - - - - -

In both cases, the magenta circular rule is the trim or cutter guide.

Feel free to amend or revise as necessary - or let me know if I can help

further with files/formats or whatever.

can anybody do something with the resulting files I've got 🤔

I have had a quick go at em, but can't view them ☹️ Maybe when MAV comes home he could do some magic tricks and get to have a look at them 😬 *thumbup*

We'll let you know *wink*

it is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
