I had a good look at Dave's car at Llandow. It's one of the few you see from a distance and feel the need to take a closer look! It has a fantastic specification and has been exceptionally well put together *thumbup*

This is great car, top spec and monster engine which is built with all the latest know-how to make it extremely powerfull but also reliable. The attention to detail on this car needs to be seen. Some body will pich-up a bargain. You could easily win class 5 with this car. Hurry up and buy it to prevent Dave J walking away with the championship. *cool*

Thanks for the feedback Gav.

How about some feedback folks.

Is no one looking for the R500 experience?

Where should I be advertising this car?

Any interest at £26999

I had the car out yesterday and it is glorious!!!

Thanks for the feedback and the BTT. *biggrin*

The 5 speed quaife is stronger, very close ratio & runs straight cut gears for less power loss. At these power levels the 6 speed's longevity can be questionable when the 5 speed is bullet proof.

Jenvey DTHTB's are seen as the standard for making good power with the K series. My engine comfortably makes more power and torque than a R500, runs smother and is easier to live with in real world driving.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with roller barrel injection of course, just that there is not a distinct advantage to it in this application.

Finally if you absolutely had to have the 6 speed and roller barrels you could change them out and sell the Jenvey's and quaife on and still have a very excellent car for less than a standard R400!

Dave,

In my experience you'd be much better selling the 5-spd box to someone who knows what it is and slapping a 6-spd Cat Box back in there for the 98% of people who won't/can't get past the spec sheet.

In summary, what makes a car fast is not what makes a car sell :-(

Just my 2p worth. Good luck with the sale - she sounds like a beaut.
