millsn
Just bought one of these from Caterham but didn't give much thought to connecting it to rubber fuel hose. 1) Where do you go to get suitable hose connectors 2) Where does this item fit in a K series car? 3) Is there a special bracket? Frying Pan
Nigel The fuel filter on a K-Series car sits on the rear bulkhead next to the diff on driver's side, and has an ali bracket that bolts through from the cockpit side. You can see it on this photo here Guy See some pictures of the build here. First 1000 miles completed!
Peter Carmichael
IIRC, there is an adaptor fitted to one end of the filter in the standard installation. When I got a new filter I had to transfer the adaptor over before it would fit the existing piping.
Jason Plato
I think you mean that you are looking to use this as part of your new fuel injection setup ?? The filter is a std rover item (Rover214) , it mounts on the rear bulkhead with bracket ( probably from Caterham again ) , the hose from the pump to the filter and then filter to engine bay have end fitings thet screw into the filter unit . These should also be available from Caterham . Dave Lotus 7 Club Speed Champion 2003 South Wales Area Organiser C7 TOP
