Wightwash Posted April 15, 2004 Share Posted April 15, 2004 Hi chaps, I am currently undertaking an engine conversion on my kit car, (non-caterham, sorry) i am fitting a 1600k series. I am trying to source the following items if anybody has them lying around as left overs from upgrades. 1) Wet sump, pickup etc 2) Exhaust manifold/system (i wont need a cat for legality) Cheers Guys, Any help will be much apreciated. henry21p Posted April 16, 2004 Share Posted April 16, 2004 have a spare sump & exhaust manifold kicking around.... the manifold is from a 21 rather than a 7 but all are for standard k series engine. Wightwash Posted April 16, 2004 Author Share Posted April 16, 2004 Hi Dave, Definitely interested in the sump. Does it have the pick up and bits of just the pan, what sort of condition is it in? With respect to the manifold, can you describe it at all, i.e cat or non cat, 4 into 1 wihin chassis region etc? a picture would be good if you can manage it. henry21p Posted April 16, 2004 Share Posted April 16, 2004 Regarding the exhaust - It has a cat - it is a 4 into 1 exhaust. I will try and dig our some older pictures for you. Will part with it, including the cat for £100 sale or return is fine by me. Regarding the sump - my apologies - it has already been salvaged by someone and used.
