Myles
Anyone know of a comma sales point near S-on-A or Redditch? Motorworld have stopped distributing their products - although they still have a few bottles of Xstream on their shelves... Regds, Myles Keep BC free and open for ALL. Frying Pan
Myles The 'A1' chain of independents seem to stock it (or at least the one in Banbury does). There's also a place in Warwick, LSUK, that stocks their stuff (I bought oil). Number is 01926 495211, on the Emscote Road. They seemed a friendly bunch Failing that, Edwards in Stratford (MG Rover dealer) will have the Rover equivalent. Tell them you work for Rover and you should get a discount, no questions asked 😳 Guy See some pictures of the build here. First 1000 miles completed! Simon Reader
Myles I have 10 ltr of Xstream that I don't want (based in Loxley). Give me a ring tomorrow 01789 842660 or Lucas on the Emscote Road in Warwick stock Comma products. Simon
Frying Pan
Myles The Lucas place is the same one I posted... Guy See some pictures of the build here. First 1000 miles completed!
Myles
Thanks all - I'll check out the Lucas palce if I can find it. Simon - I *think* I'm after Coldstream on the basis that that is (again, I think) what I've got in there at the moment - and I understand that changing to Xstream Red will need a serious amount of flushing... ...and no-one has given me bright ideas how to do this yet Keep BC free and open for ALL. CharlesElliott
Coldstream is also non-toxic - which definitely can't be said for that horrible red stuff! Charles --- My Caterham Academy 2004 Diary

Myles
Burger! Lucas (as with Motorworld) are running down their stocks of Comma as they are changing to another supplier... Looks like either a change to Xstream Red (yuck!) or Rovers equivalent... Keep BC free and open for ALL. YellowSeven
I'm sure not to long ago there was a similar thread and I believe someone stated that 'Partco' stocked Coldstream. If this is still the case they are a national outfit and you should be able to find a branch near you.
mav
Partco do stock Comma products - that is where I bought my big (25 litre) bottle of readymixed coldstream
YellowSeven
Mav, If you dont mind me asking how much was a 25 litre pail of pre-mixed Coldstream? It sounds like something I'll be purchasing!! Cheers

Myles
You can hardly argue with that... I've just bought some nasty red stuff from Rover - but there *is* a Partco nearish, so I'll give them a ring tomorrow before starting the work... O/T Mav - did you get the e-mail with my address, btw? Keep BC free and open for ALL. Membership No. 43xx Alcester Racing 7's Equipe - 🙆🏻™
mav
Yes. It will be with you on Wednesday Did you remove the old one?
Myles
Mav - Thanks. Nope - It's all tied up in the coolant change. I've got to take the rail off, so I might as well change the coolant - and until I've got all the parts together, I'm not going to do a thing... The local boys reckon that careful drilling will be OK... Keep BC free and open for ALL. Englishmaninwales
Mav Coldstream premix is £6.40 plus VAT for 5litres (min order 20litres) at Chester Exhaust Services (Sealand). I do not have the number to hand (at work tonight ☹️) but will email it to you. mav
Malcolm, I am not in need of any. I have about 15 litres still at home - from a 25 litre drum I bought last year.
