Sprinters check your boot

I opened the boot of my caterham last night and found a clutch cable & throttle cable plus other assorted detrius *eek*

 

the thing is they must have been in there for the lydden sprint *eek* although I do not think I can blame them for being over 1s slower than adrian 😬

Yes , it reccomended that all clutch and throttle cables are mounted in the engine compartment .

 

I would agree Rob , given the fact that you clearly had no throttle or clutch at lyden that would slow you down ......... 😬

 

this is drivers excuse number 32/891 and a great one at that *thumbup* 😬 *wink*

Rob, not quite sorted yet, but close. Have got one spring re-fitted but still not happy. Basically on full throttle the spring rotates through 90 degrees and wedges itself under the carb, which is what it did at Lydden, so am just looking at ways to prevent this.

 

Will be at Llandow, never fear.
