Bullman Posted May 13, 2001 Share Posted May 13, 2001 I am searching to find a Ford AX engine block to rebore out to 1800cc could anyone give me advice on what to look for to ensure the block is a good one,which will rebore to that size.What size pistons are used? oilyhands Posted May 13, 2001 Share Posted May 13, 2001 Dont know where you would find a block but.. 85mm will give you 1760 86.50mm will give you 1824 both with a standard stroke I think you can use the diesel crank which has a longer stroke to avoid going so large on the bore, I've also heard of Peugeot pistons being used together with the diesel crank.
