Mike Molloy Posted March 29, 2004 Share Posted March 29, 2004 The regs say "Cars in classes 1 to 5 must run in a road legal condition" and in the DVLA FAQ it states: "Are stick-on number plates legal? No, number plates must meet the British Standard requirements and we are not aware of any self-adhesive number plates that are able to meet these requirements." Manxseven Posted March 29, 2004 Share Posted March 29, 2004 I think you have to be pragmatic in this, otherwise everyone will be in Class 6 😬 So what if somebody has a stick-on number plate, 'small' number plates or lowered headlamps.
