The clutch plate in my car has only around 3000 miles on it and I would like to fit the lightened flywheel and my existing clutch.....Will this work..If not why???? Oh..tis for a 1.4 k-series.... prs Posted March 25, 2004 Share Posted March 25, 2004 The friction area of the flywheel remains the same, the excess weight is removed from the back of the flywheel ie. the side that buts up against the block.
