Lightened flywheel and clutch!

Anyone have any idea as to whether you can run a standard clutch with an CC lightened flywheel???????

The clutch plate in my car has only around 3000 miles on it and I would like to fit the lightened flywheel and my existing clutch.....Will this work..If not why????

Oh..tis for a 1.4 k-series....

And a question from another 1.6k-series owner..is this the same for a 1.6??

The friction area of the flywheel remains the same, the excess weight is removed from the back of the flywheel ie. the side that buts up against the block. Only downside of a lightweight flywheel is that you may get a lumpy tickover ☹️ but throttle response is greatly improved 😬
