I just registered... and I'm a very experienced person when it comes to message boards. (Try going to my first one at www.ps2-anime.com it is however no longer running) And I tried this sig here (http://fan.starwars.com/saeseetoman/files/Dagamesmasta3.gif ) But it came up with the actual text. I know it will make download times longer... But I reckon it will spark a general interest within the site... Just a thought... Cheers for your time! Site Manager Posted May 9, 2001 Share Posted May 9, 2001 Hi Justin, having seen several message boards where this feature has been royally abused (in one case a motoring site was turned into a hard porn site in a matter of hours), I have no intention of allowing this. I might be able to be persuaded to allow people to choose from a range of cartoon images to be placed in the column which show their name against their post. However, this would not only increase download times, as you point out, but would also increase the physical page length (notwithstanding No.6!) where many posts are only 1 liners.
