Warren S Smith
By now most people must realise that I'm soon taking delivery of a VHPD although this will come with standard brakes. Caterham have told me that these will be sufficient although my current 1.6kSS is fitted with std barkes and I've never really been happy with them (lots of pedal travel and effort required). I've read all the comments regarding Alcon brakes. Should I go with these and green stuff pads? I assume that the std master cylinder fitted will be adequate. Would appreciate advise and also total cost of acquiring the Alcon kit. Thanks,
stevefoster
Jason Brown 1.6K SS had the Alcon solution fitted and is very happy with the result. He uses Green Stuff. Pedal is better and they stop you quicker too.
