Tell ‘em "Check your records, it's not for me to do your job." *tongue*

We got an attack of the bureaucrats too .... *mad*

Every hour i spend actually working, it takes me three hours to write up all the documentation on it. I started working here coz i enjoy fixing computers, not writing reports on "how to fix computers". ☹️

The local VAT people .... grrrrr *mad*

Get sent a letter "Please contact us with reference to VAT training".

So I don't.

Get a phone msg "We want to talk to you about giving you some VAT training".

And another.

Finally get another letter. "Unless you contact us we will withdraw you VAT registration".

"Hello, is that the VAT people, Mr Noger here".

"Oh hello, we wondered if you would like a free video all about VAT"

"Er, no"

"Oh, OK then"

"Is that it ? "

"Yes"

"And you were going to remove my VAT status just for that"

"It's the system see, just sends out letters,... blah blah blah"

Fools.

Noger

As someone who implements Oracle software for HR departments, I couldn't possibly comment!!

Mind you, for the past two years I've been working with service (RAF, Army, Navy) HR people who were mostly hairy blokes - not the same!
