bl0498 Posted March 22, 2004 Share Posted March 22, 2004 Mr Mango Chutney, I think most people are using the special rollbar padding foam or something similar, covered in anice neat way and attached to the 10x10 plate (I use velcro). Chelspeed Posted March 23, 2004 Share Posted March 23, 2004 Mines an old mouse mat, well two layers of it actually, scientifically designed to stop helmeted heads hitting big steel things. Also scientifically atached to the restraint with tank tape. Edited to say that I'm pretty sure what the MSA are worried about is the head moving about a lot, hence the need for a head restraint. I don't think they're too worried about how you pad it, provided it's near you're helmeted head during the accident it doesn't matter how it's padded if at all.
