Violet Elizabeth
Taken me all bloomin' morning to remove one bloomin' bit. Now have scratched bodywork and brake fluid dripping everywhere. D'ya suppose anyone wants to buy a mostly in bits, fairly rusty, no idea how it all goes back together again, seven ? Fed up with this upgrade lark. At least I had a driveable car last year. Boo hoo Move along now, nothing happened here, nothing to see. Shooo

Violet Elizabeth
Couldn't get the bloomin' front suspension off, brake hoses and track rods to be more precise. Little blighters. Off now, but has taken for evah Seriously concerned I might not be on the road in 2004.
simonbell
Noger a typical se7en toolkit really only needs a couple of items......a hammer and an angle grinder being two of the main ones. Most things submit to an angle grinder 😬 New duratec powered build underway *New website soon* I`ve seen the future.....and it`s powered by duratec
scooby dooby doo
depending on the type of splitter you used you've probably damaged the gaitors on the rod ends - Caterham will say you need to pay 8 quid for new rod ends, redline charge you 30p for new gaitors brakes are more of a fiddle - must admit I've done more than change pads and unbolt/bolt on the calipers. Let us know if we can help more HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
Violet Elizabeth
Didn't use a splitter, hence my trouble I think ... Going through that "too much stripped of to go back, but real no progress" phase. Bit disheartening, but hopefully the next month should see some real forward motion. scooby dooby doo
ah yes - without a splitter it won't come to pieces very easy... The front suspension isn't too complex so if you can get a friend round who's done it before it can all be reassembled pretty quickly. However, there's certainly enough there to make it very difficult if its all new to you / the first time you've taken it to bits. What was the problem originally 🤔 HOOPY R706KGU Hoopylight R
