Taken me all bloomin' morning to remove one bloomin' bit. Now have scratched bodywork and brake fluid dripping everywhere. D'ya suppose anyone wants to buy a mostly in bits, fairly rusty, no idea how it all goes back together again, seven ? Fed up with this upgrade lark. At least I had a driveable car last year. Boo hoo *mad*

 

 

Move along now, nothing happened here, nothing to see. Shooo *tongue*

a typical se7en toolkit really only needs a couple of items......a hammer and an angle grinder being two of the main ones.

Most things submit to an angle grinder 😬

depending on the type of splitter you used you've probably damaged the gaitors on the rod ends - Caterham will say you need to pay 8 quid for new rod ends, redline charge you 30p for new gaitors *smile*

 

 

brakes are more of a fiddle - must admit I've done more than change pads and unbolt/bolt on the calipers.

ah yes - without a splitter it won't come to pieces very easy...

 

The front suspension isn't too complex so if you can get a friend round who's done it before it can all be reassembled pretty quickly.

 

However, there's certainly enough there to make it very difficult if its all new to you / the first time you've taken it to bits.

 

What was the problem originally 🤔
