Simon S
Why the sudden flood in the market of Prisoner wheels???
Irrelevant
Because someone sold a set for a fortune a while back - Guy I think it was. Everyone's unearthing them from the back of sheds etc. to try and tempt a buyer who'll pay £400 or something insane. There may be one born every day, but once they've all bought expensive Prisoner alloys, the market will crash. Mole
I think a lot of people are swapping their prisoners for the R300/R400 10 spoke alloys which have now replaced the prisoner alloys as the standard 15" wheel sold by Caterham. I've been looking for some prisoners to keep as spares and must say I haven't noticed a "flood". Simon - I'm interested but not at £200 😳 - let me know if they don't sell on ebay SV 52 CAT - moles fly -

Guy Lowe
Adam, Yes it was me, I sold 10 prisoner wheels (to 2 different "CUSTOMERS") for a total of £690 + P & P, absolute madness, I only expected to get £50 to £100 per set!. As I said to you the other day, if your selling redundant 7 parts use eBay as you get all the Locost type buyers there and they seem to pay top money for genuine Caterham parts! Simon S
I guess the thing is that if they can't be bought new and someone wants them then a mint set will be very attractive. Ebay is a great place for all sorts- if anyone hasn't tried go there....NOW!!!
