robmar
I have replaced both the hazard switch and the relay but still have the following symptoms... 1. left hand flashers do not work, right hand side do 2. relay clicks when left indicator on 3. hazards work fine any thoughts  could it be the indicator switch itself 🤔 Rob
Chris W
Rob The slightly strange symptom is that while the left hand indicators don't work, the flasher relay still clicks. The flasher unit is electronic and will ONLY flash (ie: click) if it detects a fairly low resistance on its output (like the resistance of the indicator lamps). So there must be a low resistance in that circuit when you switch to "left".  However, the fact that the hazard switch works means obviously that the lamps themselves are OK. I would suggest you swap over the left and right wires on the indicator switch itself (swap green/red & green/white). If the fault moves to the right hand side now, the fault definitely lies in the switch. I suspect this is the most likely cause. Chris 2003 1.8K SV 140hp see it here

Dave_H
I had this Rob - it was the switch. Â Dave
