jackb_ms
I have finally managed to take the seat out. I would like to clean the aluminium of the floor and the after having removed the carpet the panel behind the seat. What is the best way or the best product to clean aluminium panel from glue and road grim? Thank you for your help Jack Emily, The Very Yellow
Sheds Moderator
Light grime and glue - household polish followed by a plastic scraper. If really horrible, Jif and a good rinse afterwards. WD40 is a good solvent for greasy marks. Ultimately you can't beat sandblasting. Crucifixion? It's the best thing the Romans ever did for us. Nail 'em up I say! NAIL some sense into 'em! Ade Ray
The celulose thinners you can get from Halfords seems to do the trick but you need plenty of J cloths as they gunk up pretty quickly. Also remember to do it in a ventilated area! Ade
