simonpa
I'm after an intercom for use in the car - prefer Peltor kit, but would consider another make. Are there any rally sites for 2ndhand kit? Cheers, Si

V7 SLR
Si, After having had a conversation with Steve Wiseman on the Haggis Hunt, we both decided we could design one that's better than anything you can buy. Expect to soon see one that: 1. Allows each person to adjust the volume of the other in their own headset 2. Allows connection to 2 music sources. Each person can select which one they want to listen to, and adjust the volume independantly. 3. Allows connection to a mobile phone, and has independantly adjustable volume controls. This will allow both parties to talk and listen to someone on a nother phone at the same time. If there is another car with a similar arrangement that means 4 people can talk together, and with confderence calls.... smile.gif 4. Allows connection to a 2 way radio and has independantly adjustable volume controls. Obviously, this is invaluable for events like the Haggis Hunt. Each car simply buys a Motorola walkie talkie from any electrical retailer, and as long as they're within a mile of each other, they can talk for free, although this is simplex conversations, as opposed to full duplex through a phone. If I can get a good working one, I might make several and sell them.
stevefoster
Nigel, Yes, yes, yes! Please chalk me up for one of these if the price is reasonable.
