Toonoisy
Madness has set in (well, that's what the wife thinks anyway!) and the thought of 16V, more power and a Zetec mean that I will have my trusty XFlow to sell (not to mention a huge hole in the wallet). Mind not completely made up (but I have found the Zetec so must be nearly decided )! It was originally built in 1990, has been upgraded to unleaded since then (Oct 1999) by Roger himself and has done (according to the speedo) 19K. It's about 170-180 bhp, runs DCOE45's and a Weber Alpha wasted spark 3D ignition (although I have a dizzy and Lucas Comp ign if wanted!) and an alloy sump. It's been run on Mobil 1 since I've had it (Feb 1999) and has only had one previous owner. Sounds great, is great - I just want more power There are a few pictures of it here: http://uk.geocities.com/paul.a.mills@btinternet.com/ Would prefer to sell complete but may be persuaded to split. Currently in the car (as shown by the pictures). Sensible offers please (the more sensible the offer, the more likely I am to order the Zetec and survive the days of silent treatment from my wife ☹️ ) Paul. Andrew Dent
Who ever get this engine will be very happy. Its been well looked after. Now have an extra big toy cupboard, with the main toy in bits.
Toonoisy
Slight update. The engine is a 1991 vintage, according to the SPR engine number, August that year.
