ELV15
When I corner aggressively washer fluid leaks out of the small nozzle on top of the scuttle. At first I thought I was hitting the washer button by accident, but this is not the case. The washer fluid is not spraying out. It just runs out and makes a mess! Has anyone else had this problem? shn7
No. I've both my previous two sevens have done it. So that's at least 3/4. Steve.
neil.cavanagh
My SV does it to.... though only seems to do it when you've get it wrong and are very very sideways. It also throws loads of petrol out of the fuel cap/vent. I need to do the mod with long bits of fuel piping and one way valves.....
Chelspeed
It's the inertia of the column of water in the tube. Depending on where the pipe runs it can get forced out on cornering or on accelerating. It's very easy to fix. Get an line non return valve, a small spring loaded valve that fits in the line and is designed to stop water draining back into the bottle (so that you get no spray for the first few seconds while the line refills). With this fitted anywhere in the line there will be a slight resistance to flow, not enough to stop it pumping when you want it to, but enough to stop it moving under it's own inertia. Myles
It's very easy to fix. Sure is! Ditch the window in favour of an aeroscreen - empty/remove washer bottle. Job's a goodun 😬 Keep BC free and open for ALL. Membership No. 43xx Alcester Racing 7's Equipe - 🙆🏻™
Mick Day
Once the washer bottle is removed remove the pump & glue a grommet in place to seal the hole. You now have a convenient container for 2 litres of engine oil. Perfect for touring.

shn7
I prefer to keep my engine oil in the engine 😬 Steve.
Slarty Blat Fast
Clearly you're all driving far too fast. Try cornering slower, that'll sort it.
