Excellent condition shocks only completed 4000 miles - purchased in late 2001. Springs are original from 1995 completed 15000 miles and again in good nic. should fit an 82 car as it is English axel is'nt it? Reason for removal - changing engine to VX and bought freestyle shocks to suit English axel. e-mail if interested as i can send photos. simon redshaw Posted March 14, 2004 Share Posted March 14, 2004 JDB, Suggest you check with Bruce at Arch motors what type of dampers will actually fit onto you 82 car. They have built every frame for the lotus 7 since Christe was alive. he will tell you exactly what type are required and may even have contacts for some of the parts.
