As I have an Apollo tank will all the oil drain out of the sump plug or do I have to drain the apollo down too? You'll need to use a (32mm?) spanner to brace the apollo tank against the drain plug when loosening - the apollo is pretty thin-walled and you can do all sorts of nasties if you're not careful... Mick Day Posted March 12, 2004 Share Posted March 12, 2004 When you remove the filter 98% of the oil in the Apollo will flow out. The little that is left will soon be well diluted with clean oil.
