Jason Plato
These are quite reasonably priced through Caterham as I recall .
Sheds Moderator
DS pan ex CC £200 +VAT, I sold my spare one for £100 and everyone was happy. They are about as scarce as half doors and Cf Tilletts though.
lrem
Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated. I've now been offered a dry sump pan too so probably 'only ' need all the hoses, mounting brackets etc. to be up and running...
Jason Plato
The mounting bracket for the pump is simply the power steering mounting from a Rover 200 . Couple of quid from the scrappies changed from aircon > power steering pump Edited by - Dave Jackson on 12 Mar 2004 07:55:

Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted March 11, 2004 Leadership Team Share Posted March 11, 2004 Don't buy an air-con mounting bracket as it won't be much use. Get the power steering pump bracket instead Lionel - which tank are you using? Stu.
lrem
Thanks for the info Stu - looks like the pump already comes with the mounting bracket. I'm hoping to buy AVES' tank from Pace if he can source a suitable replacement from Brise for his VX. I noticed you're after a bellhousing - isn't Count selling one from an R500 on his website? Cheers, Lionel
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted March 12, 2004 Leadership Team Share Posted March 12, 2004 He's got it listed as a "Magnesium bellhousing" therefore I assume it's a standard bellhousing as oposed to the bell-tank 🤔 Stu.
robmar
I thought I had bought that many moons ago but Count never responded to my emails ho hum rob Edited by - robmar on 12 Mar 2004 13:56:
lrem
Hmm, I thought all R500's had a dry sump as standard, and assumed they'd used the bellhousing for this purpose. Maybe worth dropping Count an email/posting on Tech Talk??
robmar
it is one for a dry sump with integrated bell-tank....
lrem
Thanks Rob , but I'll leave it for either you or Stu since I'm hoping to go down the external tank route Cheers, Lionel
